Mourinho slams suggestions of a player revolt

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has rubbished reports suggesting there are players at the club who would rather lose than win for the Portuguese manager.

BBC Radio 5 live presenter Garry Richardson claimed there was a player at Stamford Bridge who was happy to lose games under Mourinho in the hope he would be sacked.

Mourinho was quick to quash those rumours when quizzed on the topic by reporters.

"It's a very sad accusation because you are accusing a player, or more than one player, of dishonesty," Mourinho said.

"If I accuse you of being a dishonest journalist I think you would be very upset and probably take legal action. I think it's a question for the players, not for me.

"[They are] giving their best in every minute of every session, giving solidarity between all of us. [They have] fantastic personal relationships, very good professional relationships, and are training...always with a strong desire to win the next match."
