Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has taken aim at Manchester City midfielder Raheem Sterling over his World Cup campaign.
Mourinho, acting as a pundit for Russian international television network RT, claims Sterling did not deserve to start against Belgium in the third-place play-off.
He was unimpressed with the City star's performances on the biggest stage, suggesting he was worn down this summer.
Mourinho said: "He didn't have a good enough World Cup to be chosen for a match ahead of [Jamie] Vardy, [Danny] Welbeck, [Marcus] Rashford – people with probably better condition from a physical and psychological point of view."
