Mourinho shove sparked Manchester melee as he declared: Show some f***ing respect!

There's claims from Spain of punches being thrown during the great derby melee between Manchester City and Manchester United players on Sunday.

Sport says both playing and coaching staff clashed after City's raucous celebrations following their 2-1 win at Old Trafford.

United boss Jose Mourinho passed by the away dressing room door and took issue with the celebrating, shouting: "Who the hell are you? Show some f***ing respect!"

Ederson, the City goalkeeper, reacted to Mourinho by confronting him at the doorway - which then saw the United manager shove him. This sparked the brawl, with Vincent Kompany and Fernandinho moving to the support of their teammate.

Captain Kompany, particularly, was aggressive in his reaction to Mourinho and United's players. In all, about 15 players and staff were involved.

Mikel Arteta, meanwhile, wasn't the only City coach to be struck by a water bottle. A City physio was also hit. Sport insists the missile was thrown by Romelu Lukaku.

It wasn't until attending police at the stadium intervened that tempers eased and the two sets of brawlers went their separate ways.
