Jose Mourinho is rearranging his Manchester United backroom staff to make up for the departure of Rui Faria.
Mourinho's long-time assistant and friend will depart this summer, as he looks to build his own managerial career.
Now Mourinho must ensure that he fills the void left by Faria, who was trusted with many aspects of training.
Michael Carrick is joining the coaching staff after his retirement. United will also promote Kieran McKenna from the youth setup.
McKenna arrived from Tottenham a couple years ago as a youth coach. He has impressed everyone at United. He will now make the step up to the first team, per the Manchester Evening News.
The coach is highly rated and known for his dedication to attacking play.
