Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists he takes the FA Cup seriously.
Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert said that the competition is an inconvenience to Premier League clubs.
Mourinho said: "I don't agree. Paul has a right to express his opinion. But I have a right to think differently, especially for teams without European competition and with FA Cup matches come at the weekend. I don't see a reason for clubs not trying to win matches.
"I have been lucky to win lots of trophies, but to win at Wembley and feel what it means was one of the high moments in my career."
