Mourinho's second Chelsea generation fast gaining experience

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho indicates his squad is a very strong position in terms of experience.

The Blues still have experienced players like John Terry, Didier Drogba, Petr Cech and John Obi Mikel from Mourinho's first spell in charge at Stamford Bridge which he has been able to mix with newer west London stars.

As Chelsea get set to clinch this season's Premier League title, Mourinho spoke of his second lot of experienced players as well as the younger generation who have things in a steady state at 'The Bridge'.

"[Branislav] Ivanovic is experienced. [Cesar] Azpilicueta gets experience," he said.

"[Eden] Hazard is here for three years. [Nemanja] Matic gets experience. The years are for everyone, not just for them.

"Ruben Loftus-Cheek is 18 and he just arrived. In five years' time he will be 23, so I see this as a natural process."
