Chelsea remain the favoured destination for Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho. Mourinho confessed at a coaching seminar held by Canillas this week that he would not be around next year. The comments have been confirmed by Canillas president Manuel Alvarez.
Another report claimed Mou produced a photograph of former team Chelsea celebrating on an open-top bus and said: "I'll be on that bus next season."
Mourinho wants to return to Chelsea after patching up his differences with Blues owner Roman Abramovich.
He is understood to have verbally agreed his comeback on a salary matching the £12m a year he is paid in Spain, says the Daily Star.
Last week it was revealed that he has drawn up a transfer shopping list with Zenit St Petersburg striker Hulk at the top of it.
