Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho is planning to raid former club Chelsea for midfielder John Obi Mikel.

The Milan-based Mediaset says Mourinho wants to blow Chelsea out of the water with a stunning contract offer to the Nigeria international.

Obi Mikel is currently on £1.5 million-a-year and is seeking closer to £2.5 million-a-year to re-sign with Chelsea. However, Mourinho hopes to tempt him by offering a massive £3.3 million-a-year to bring the midfielder to Milan in the summer.
