Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho ordered his players in for an early morning training session this morning.
The Daily Mail says Mourinho ordered his players in for a training session on Tuesday morning - immediately after they had flown in from Beijing.
The weary squad touched down at Manchester Airport at 5am after travelling 5,000 miles and 11 hours through the night but were on the training pitch at Carrington by 6.30am.
It is understood that Mourinho was unhappy at the lack of fitness work the players had done over the last 72 hours and wanted them to do a proper warm-down.
It came after their derby with Manchester City in Beijing was cancelled on Monday after heavy rain left the pitch at the Bird's Nest Stadium unplayable.
