Mourinho: Man Utd need Ibrahimovic to stay a second year

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has yet to commit to a second year at Manchester United despite scoring 26 goals, so far, in his debut season.

It is understood a contract is in place for the 35-year-old to stay and boss Jose Mourinho certainly wants him to, judging by his comments.

"This team has a lot of growing to do," said Mourinho during his media session pre-Bournemouth.

"The next transfer window will bring us to a different level because I will bring in a few players. Zlatan will be fundamental in the second year. I think he will stay."
