New Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is interested in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.

Mourinho discussed signing Gundogan for Real Madrid during the past season and Spanish media sources say he now is keen for the midfielder to join him at Stamford Bridge.

The incoming Blues boss has no doubts Gundogan can handle the physical nature of the Premier League and after his performance against Real in the Champions League semis hasn't stopped talking about the player to confidants.
