Mourinho: Inter Milan can't end Juventus title hopes

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho doesn't believe their clash with Juventus is a title decider. The Nerazzurri are currently top of the table with a seven-point lead over second placed Milan and an eight-point lead of Juventus.

Mourinho said: "Juventus-Inter is always worth three points and we are sure that we'll come away from Turin still in first place.

"I understood last year what Inter-Juventus means. But it does a team good to have a trainer who is a little outside of these emotions. I am not Italian. I live this game as a professional and I believe that this is a positive thing.

"It's an important game. There are many matches between Juve and Inter in history. For me, it's a game that's worth three points; the same that we got against Fiorentina and that we lost against Sampdoria. We have one certainty: We'll come away from Turin in first place."

Asked if a win would practically secure a fifth straight Scudetto for Inter, Mourinho said: "I usually begin to understand the championship at the end of the first half of the season, when we are 50 per cent through the campaign.

"If then there is a team with some more points, you can begin to understand how it will end. It's still too soon. There are four or five games until the second half of the season and this is a difficult League.

"In the season before my arrival Inter had a 12-point advantage and half an hour from the end of the championship they were losing the title."
