Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho suggests Eric Bailly could feature in Thursday night's Europa League clash with Zorya Luhansk.
The Ivory Coast centre-back has been sidelined with a knee injury since October but after sitting on the bench for the weekend's draw with Everton, may be used instead of Phil Jones or Marcos Rojo in Ukraine.
"It is important for the team to have more options," the manager told MUTVon Wednesday.
"I think Jones and Rojo are playing amazingly well but they are playing every match in a row.
"Now we have Bailly back but we know we are going to lose him in a few weeks because he goes to the African Cup of Nations. But, in this period of Christmas, where we play every three days, it's very important to have one more option."
United have to avoid defeat to Zorya in order to progress to the Round of 32 of Europe's second tier club competition.
