Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho helped Manchester City land former Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero last week, it has been revealed.
City landed Aguero for £38 million - but only after Mourinho blocked a move to Real, says A Bola.
Mourinho had taken full control of Real's football matters during negotiations last month and shut the door on the Aguero deal over the behaviour of Atletico in talks and also the salary the striker would arrive on - €8 million.
City boss Roberto Mancini was happy to step in and close a deal for the Argentina international for a club record fee.
