Mourinho happy for fans as Chelsea hold trophy aloft

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was over the moon for the club supporters on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues defeated Sunderland 3-1 on the final day of the season before holding aloft the Premier League trophy which they clinched three weeks ago.

After losing 3-0 to West Bromwich Albion last Monday night, Mourinho was thrilled to see his players back in form as the west London club celebrated their 2014/15 triumph in front of the Stamford Bridge faithful.

"It was good to see the dynamic back," Mourinho said.

"The big emotion is always when you clinch the title. When you have the cup in your hands and when the players have it, is always a great feeling.

"(After waiting) five years at Stamford Bridge it was time for our supporters to enjoy too."

Diego Costa levelled for Chelsea with a 37th-minute penalty after Steven Fletcher had opened the scoring for the Black Cats ten minutes earlier.

Loic Remy then fired home a second-half double to give Chelsea their 26th win of the season.
