Mourinho hands Chelsea, Man City clear run at David Luiz
Real Madrid have given Premiership rivals Chelsea and Manchester City a clear run at Benfica defender David Luiz.
Real coach Jose Mourinho has admitted Benfica's asking price is too rich for their liking.
"I like him a lot, but he will not come to Madrid this year. I am not thinking about him for this year, at all," said Mourinho. "There was a little contact, but the price is prohibitive."
Chelsea and City have both made major cash offers to Benfica for Luiz in the past week.
