Mourinho, Guardiola prepare for England move with LMA function

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola will be in England this week.

The Mail on Sunday says Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is chairing a secret two-day seminar for the Premier League's leading managers starting on Sunday - and the attendance of Mourinho and Guardiola will give the event an astonishing twist.

Mourinho, manager of Real Madrid, and former Barcelona boss Guardiola, currently on a sabbatical as he ponders where to resume his career, are expected to be joined by other big names from continental Europe at the event, organised by the League Managers' Association.

But the presence of the pair could be hugely significant. The LMA exists primarily to represent the interests of managers in the four professional divisions of the English game.

It could yet transpire that both plan to work in England in the near future.
