Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is eager for them not to get carried away with their romp over Champions League opponents Lyon.
Mourinho, whose side are also just one point behind top two Barcelona and Levante in La Liga, was pleased with the victory and his team's form, but the Portuguese is staying grounded.
He said in AS: "I don't know if we are in the best moment since I arrived. Not long ago we dropped five points in the league.
"I like many things and others can be improved on, but we are in a nice positive moment.
"Now we have a difficult fixture list. We are facing Malaga, Villarreal and Real Sociedad without barely a break. We need to see how these games go before talking about a good run of form."
