Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is delighted to count on Didier Drogba for their trip to Manchester United.
Today's Premier League trip to Old Trafford will definitely come too soon for Loic Remy, while fellow forward Diego Costa is also a doubt meaning Drogba has a good chance of featuring from the beginning against Manchester United.
"He can play a key role but we have to build the profile of that key role," explained Mourinho.
"It could be to be there when the team needs a player to be there. For this Didier was always a fantastic example of a team player, a club man, and a dressing room man. At the age of 36, after so many years of experience, he has even better conditions to be a key man.
"The players that knew him before had him in their hearts,' continued the manager recalling Drogba's return in July. 'They know the guy he is.
"For the other kids that arrived at the club after Didier's departure - people like Oscar, Willian, Hazard, these guys - I think they understand the meaning of the player at this football club. They were very keen to meet the man who made history at this club."
