Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has made a glowing tribute to Didier Drogba.
The Stamford Bridge boss paid tribute to Drogba, 36, who is being honoured by the Football Writers' Association for his outstanding contribution to the game.
He joins Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, David Beckham, and a host of stars as recipients of the annual tribute.
Mourinho who signed Drogba for £24million from Marseille in 2004 said: "Didier was unknown and the price was very, very high. But I think we can say he was the best-value signing for Chelsea in relation to what he has done for the club over so many years."
