Jose Mourinho has reportedly contacted Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic about a possible move to Manchester United this summer.

Mourinho is widely expected to take over from Louis van Gaal as United boss next season and it is understood the former Chelsea manager is keen on a reunion with the Swedish international he managed at Inter Milan.

Ibrahimovic's contract at the Parc des Princes is set to expire at the end of the current season and French publication Le 10 Sport is reporting Mourinho has already taken the step of contacting the player directly to discuss the possibility of a move to Old Trafford.

The 34-year-old has spent four seasons in France, scoring 135 goals in 166 appearances in all competitions for PSG.
