Jose Mourinho defended the make-up of his Treble winning Inter Milan team after last night's Champions League triumph.
Inter were criticised for becoming the first team ever in a Champions League Final to start without a single representative of the club's country.
"The truth is we are a very Italian team and proud to represent Italian football," said Mourinho.
"Italy can boast that they are the reigning World champions at international level and champions of Europe at club level. I am proud to have contributed to that.
"Perhaps they won't treat me any better in Spain, but it is a new challenge for me. I want to win the League in the three biggest nations and win the Champions League with three different clubs.
"But who knows, tomorrow morning I might wake up and decide I want to win a third consecutive Scudetto!"
