Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho has dismissed criticism from Bayern Munich after their friendly victory this week.

"I saw ten defenders and one striker from Inter," moaned Bayern chief Uli Hoeness after the defeat.

Mourinho didn't shy away, when admitting: "It's true, I really wanted to win.

"We have done well, we were tight and compact. It's true, we defended more than we'd usually prefer to do, but we were in an emergency and it was my choice. I think that practically I was missing a whole team ..."
