Manchester City target Patrick Vieira has played his last game for the club, reports Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho. The France international, who hinted earlier on Wednesday that he was set to seal a move to Eastlands, played the full 90 minutes of Inter's 1-0 Serie A success over Chievo.
Mourinho told reporters after the match that the former Arsenal ace was now heading for the exit door and expects him to return to the Premier League.
He told Sky Italia: "Patrick will say goodbye to us.
"He will surely miss us. I don't know where he will go. The club thought not to turn down his request to leave. This would have been the last year of his contract.
"Where he will go? I said I don't know. In my opinion he will go to England, even if there is the possibility also he could go to France.
"I wish him every happiness."
