Jose Mourinho says Chelsea must shoot higher than the Europa League next season.

Chelsea go into the new season as Europa League title holders.

Mourinho said: "Europa League winners can be analysed in two ways - one way, you won it, the other way, why did you win it?

"It is because you didn't get through the group phase of the Champions League.

"The Europa League is for two kinds of teams - those who go directly in that competition and those who don't succeed in the Champions League.

"The final was between two teams who didn't succeed in the group stage.

"Our target level is not Europa League, it's Champions League and Premier League."
