Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho faces a battle to revive mentally Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez.

The Telegraph says Mourinho has a 'serious battle to revitalise his star signings Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba'.

Neither have looked happy in recent weeks and Sanchez admitted he has found it more difficult than he anticipated to fit in to life at Old Trafford.

The report also says there are growing concerns about their states of mind.

Reports this week described Sanchez as a lone individual and worryingly he named Zlatan Ibrahimovic as one of his closest friends at the club. And now the Swede has left.

Mourinho now faces a battle to help the pair recover their confidence before the end of the season.
