Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho admits he's battling to lift his players this season.

Real have struggled to match the energy of last term.

"A coach has good times and bad times. It is not easy to have and manage a squad of 20 or 25 players of different nationalities. Football should be the most important thing in their lives and you have to instil that in them. For me, my main aim is to motivate my players every day," said Mourinho.
