Roma fullback Marco Motta has urged fans to get behind the club.
Supporters have been protesting against Roma's lack of summer transfer activity and Motta said: "It's never good to be protested against, even if they are dealing with the club and not the players.
"It's not good anyway, but we are trying to distance ourselves from this, looking to work, thinking only about our objectives.
"Paradoxically I can confirm Roma are not the only team looking to sell players. Milan have sold Kaka. Inter still don't know if they will sell Ibrahimovic or not. I certainly see a more competitive Roma."
