Former Udinese fullback Marco Motta is delighted to have signed permanently with Roma this week.

The Under-21 full-back moved to Rome from Udine on loan last January and proved his worth during the past six months.

"I am enthusiastic about this," said Motta.

"I would like to thank the club and the Coach who had faith in me. The supporters also deserve my praise for the way they have always shown me their appreciation."
