Motherwell have taken Leicester City goalkeeper Rab Douglas for trials.

The former Celtic and Scotland goalkeeper was transfer listed by Leicester City in the summer, and Motherwell manager Mark McGhee wants to provide competition for Graeme Smith.

"Rab is training with us," said McGhee. "We only have one goalie and it is an area we want to strengthen."
