Motherwell have signed 20-year-old goalkeeper Luke Daniels in a loan deal from West Bromwich Albion.

The former Manchester United youngster will act as back-up to Graeme Smith, but McGhee now hopes to add signings capable of coming straight into his first team.

"We hope so, I can't say who they are right now," McGhee said. "We have had one or two we are disappointed with already, but one or two more we are hopeful of bringing in."
