Motherwell look set to clinch a deal for Alan Gow after confirming he will sign on Thursday subject to passing a medical. The 27-year-old forward attracted the interest of several clubs after being released by Plymouth.
A move to Swindon reportedly collapsed over personal terms and he was also linked with Motherwell's Clydesdale Bank Premier League rivals Kilmarnock and St Mirren.
He has now signed an initial six-month contract with the Steelmen subject to medical formalities on Thursday morning.
