Motherwell's Higdon will consider England offers

Motherwell striker Michael Higdon is likely to consider offers from English clubs this summer.

The Liverpool-born striker is on top of the Scottish Premier League scoring charts with 24 goals and could quite possibly return to English football after the current campaign if he is guaranteed regular first team minutes.

"I don't know, I just like playing football and that's what I'm doing at the moment," he said.

"I could go down south and not play, so we'll just see what happens."

29-year old Higdon previously played for Crewe Alexandra, where he started his career, before moving to Falkirk in 2007 and then onto St Mirren and now Motherwell where he has enjoyed his most prolific scoring form.
