Motherwell renew shirt sponsorship deal

Motherwell has renewed its shirt sponsorship deal with Cash Converters for two more years, reports SportsPro. The new agreement, negotiated by sports marketing agency SportQuake, runs until the end of the 2013/14 season.

The two parties will work closely to run fan promotions and competitions, including one which offers the chance for supporters to 'convert their seat' and sit with the Motherwell team in the home dugout at Fir Park.

Motherwell chief executive Leeann Dempster said: "We are absolutely delighted that Cash Converters is giving such strong support to Motherwell Football Club, and Scottish Football in these turbulent times."

"The partnership has been a great success. Cash Converters have easily been the most engaging and involved of any sponsor the club has ever had and I am sure supporters have seen that with the amount of initiatives and communications that have taken place during our first season."

Cash Converters chief executive David Patrick added: "It has been a tremendous honour to work with the club and the fans this past year and we are thoroughly looking forward to supporting the club this season as they embark on new adventures in both the Champions League and the new look SPL."
