Motherwell offer new striker Ojamaa long-term deal

Motherwell have offered in-form striker Henrik Ojamaa a deal to stay at the club on a long-term basis.

The 20-year old Estonian has scored four goals in five appearances since arriving from his homeland and the Well have now offered him a two-and-a-half-year deal after he originally signed until the end of the season.

"Henrik came in and had a good trial and since he's signed he's been electric," said manager Stuart McCall.

"We've got to be careful, we can't expect that week in, week out - I think he's had four shots and four goals - but he's a terrific lad, great to work with and he just wants to learn.

"He's added the goals to our mix and the other parts of his game are excellent. He's something a bit different to our other strikers - he likes to go beyond and down the channels.

"He's a tenacious, really hard worker and makes chances for other people.

"The icing on the cake is the way he has finished - left foot or right foot, they are terrific finishes.

"We're hopeful we'll hear about the contract over the next couple of days."
