Sheffield United have been granted permission to talk to Motherwell manager Stuart McCall.
SunSport has revealed that the Blades can now speak to McCall regarding the managerial vacancy made by the sacking of Danny Wilson recently.
McCall joins United interim boss Chris Morgan and MK Dons manager Karl Robinson as potential candidates with Well chief executive Leeann Dempster confirming there had been contact from Bramall Lane.
"I can confirm we had an approach from Sheffield United regarding Stuart last night," Dempster said on Tuesday.
