Motherwell manager Stuart McCall has praised his side for their performance in their Europa League qualifier with Kuban Krasndoar.
The Steelmen were beaten 1-0 in Russia in the second leg to lose 2-0 on aggregate in the third round of qualification but McCall felt his side put in a decent showing against a team worth a lot more money than his.
"I was proud of them, it was a good effort," he said.
"I have watched them (Kuban) four times and I watched them on Sunday against Spartak (Moscow), and they are a really good side.
"They are talking about (Ibrahima) Balde going for £10-11m and the boy in the middle (Charles Kabore) for £7-8m.
"The effort and determination was good and we're just disappointed to lose the game."
