Motherwell boss Stuart McCall has denied reports that Bolton and QPR have made £700,000 bids for striker Jamie Murphy. The 21 year old has previously been linked to Rangers.
"We have had no contact from either Bolton or QPR so I don't know where this has come from," he told the Evening Times.
"I worked with Neil Warnock, the QPR manager, for over five years so I would like to think he would let me know if he was interested in one of my players.
"On top of that, £700,000 is nowhere near our valuation of Jamie. But the bottom line is he is under contract here until 2013 and going nowhere right now.
"Jamie has a key part to play for us over the season ahead and he knows how highly we value him. Right now I am concentrating on bringing in new faces, not losing key players."
