Motherwell are making a move for free agent James McFadden.
Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill says he is seeking talks with McFadden about re-signing the Scott following his release from Nottingham Forest.
However, the Scottish Sun says Motherwell are keen to lure him back to Fir Park.
