Motherwell boss McGhee thrilled to win at Aberdeen

Motherwell boss Mark McGhee made it no secret he was delighted to grab three points at former club Aberdeen yesterday.

McGhee said: "I am delighted to get three points away from home against Aberdeen, which was important for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

"I feel what we deserve credit for is the fact that we came here with four centre forwards in the team.

"We also had Steven McGarry on the right side of midfield, Phil O'Donnell who is an attacking midfielder playing in a slightly different role and Stephen Hughes, who is an attacking midfielder as well.

"We have done that away from home against the team who finished third last season and it was worth it because we got a two-goal lead that we hung on to."
