Motherwell boss Mark McGhee is confident of keeping Premiership target Ross McCormack.

Middlesbrough and Wigan have been linked with McCormack, but McGhee says: "Ross has told me he wants to stay.

"As well as the possibility of some money coming from the McFadden deal we already have some money to spend on incoming players and I have recommended that we spend some of that on keeping some of our better players, including Ross."
