Stuart McCall is set to reject the overtures of Sheffield United to remain as manager of Motherwell.
The former Everton, Rangers, Bradford City and Blades midfielder held talks with the League One club last week but will remain at Fir Park where he has led the Well to third and second-place finishes in Scotland in the past two seasons.
United were keen to hand the reins to McCall following the sacking of Danny Wilson late in the season but it appears as though he will stay put after signing a two-year deal with Motherwell recently.
