Motherwell boss Stuart McCall is backing winger Chris Humphrey for Scotland honours.
The youngster is currently being tracked by Liverpool and Everton.
Toffees hero McCall said: "I wouldn't dream of telling Craig who to pick but Chris is certainly in a rich vein of form.
"Everyone is aware what Chris brings to the table and his sheer pace alone can terrorise defences.
"Like most wingers he can be inconsistent and we took him out of the firing line for a while.
"However, he has come back refreshed and has added goals to his armoury and is now playing with real confidence.
"Scotland are not blessed with an abundance of quality wide men. Chris is one of those guys who can produce a couple of bits of magic and sometimes that's all you need.
"At international level you could throw him on for the final 20 minutes as his pace alone would frighten defenders.
"If he continues in this form who knows what could happen with regards to being involved in the Scotland set-up."
