Moses Makasi has signed a new contract with West Ham United.
The 20-year-old midfielder played a crucial part in the Development Squad's triumphant U21 Premier League Cup success, and his efforts have been rewarded with a new one-year deal.
Speaking after signing his new deal, a delighted Makasi said: “I'm very happy, it hasn't all been easy and a lot of hard work has gone into it. Hard work will always get you far in life so hopefully I can push myself and make it to the first team squad.
“I can feel that I've improved. At the start of the season I didn't think I was where I needed to be but now I feel a lot closer to being a first team player, obviously there's still a long way to go."
