Victor Moses is confident Franco di Santo will prove a valuable signing for Wigan Athletic.

In defeat to Manchester City, Moses feels Di Santo did more than enough on his full debut to suggest there is far more to come.

"Franco did well out there," he told the Wigan Evening Post.

"He did so well on his debut against Sunderland last week and deservedly got his chance from the start.

"It was a shame he couldn't cap it with a goal."
