Ravel Morrison appears set to remain a Lazio player, despite ongoing reports linking the Englishman with a mover to QPR.
Morrison's agent Daniel Wilson has poured could water on rumours suggesting the 22-year-old could return to England, telling Gianluca Di Marzio's website his client is 'working hard to be a leader' at Lazio.
"There was no request to transfer Morrison," Wilson said.
"Ravel is happy to stay in Rome, he's working hard to be a leader. I've come to see the game [the Champions League play-off with Bayer Leverkusen] and to be with my client.
"Today we were at Formello to meet [Lazio director Igli] Tare, with whom we have a great relationship, but we never asked for a transfer because [coach Stefano] Pioli holds him [Morrison] in high regard and considers him an important part of the squad."
Morrison joined Lazio this summer after signing a pre-contract agreement with the Serie A outfit in January. He begun training with the capital club in February.
