West Bromwich Albion midfielder James Morrison was delighted to prove the matchwinner at Tottenham yesterday.
The Scotland international headed home Chris Brunt's 74th-minute corner to send the visitors home with their first three points of the season - and first win at White Hart Lane since 1984.
"The last time I scored was away at Anfield last season," Morrison told the WBA website.
"I was a goalscoring midfielder previously, but now I have more of a defensive role.
"I was delighted to get back on the scoresheet because it's such a great feeling. I have scored a couple of headers before.
"I was in the box to block a man but I managed to break away from my marker and found myself free. I just saw the ball coming and I rose like a salmon and managed to finish it of."
