West Bromwich Albion midfielder James Morrison supports the manager's policy of bringing in new signings to make the squad stronger. And Morrison thinks Roy Hodgson's new recruits will help the Baggies in their bid to make a strong start to the new season.
He told the Express and Star: "If you look at the players who weren't here this time last year, you could argue we are stronger now.
"But I still think we could do with a few more players in the squad and I know the club are working on that, so it would good to get them in before the start of the season.
"It's good to freshen things up and bring different personalities in the dressing room. It's always important to get a good start, because we don't want to be looking for points early on.
"While you haven't got points on the board you are always looking over your shoulder."
