West Bromwich Albion midfielder James Morrison is convinced of their European chances.

Morrison has played on the continent before, helping ­Middlesbrough to the final of the UEFA Cup, in 2006.

He said: "We are not used to this position. It just shows what a fantastic season the lads have had.

"We beat a team like Swansea, who've had a lot of credit this year, and so should we. We are delighted with where we are.

"We can relax now and go into each game, going out to enjoy it, play some nice football, score some goals, and also defend like we did against Swansea.

"I've played in Europe before and we got all the way to the final. It was great, travelling to different countries and facing different opposition.

"I would like to play in Europe again but we've got to keep progressing. We've got a good group of players so let's kick on from here. Hopefully now we can keep it going because we don't want to let the season fizzle out."
