Fernando Morientes admits he's likely to leave Valencia in the summer.
The former Real Madrid and Liverpool striker said: "This will probably be my last year in Valencia, almost certainly, but I will continue to work professionally.
"I know what my situation is perfectly. I do not have problems with the coach or the club and I accept my role as a substitute."
Morientes has acknowledged that he came very close to joining Turkey's Galatasaray a couple of weeks ago.
"The offer from the Turkish league was good for me and the club, in fact Valencia very quickly came to an agreement," said Morientes.
"But when I asked for assurances in writing for me and my family, they were not given in the right condition and it was decided that the transfer would not happen."
